| Sounds too good to be true... and it is :(: Rating: 2 out of 5 |
Don't expect a miracle! We read the reports of what this 'wunder-toy' could do and thought it might be a fun way to quieten down a grumpy baby. No such luck. It might be enough to calm some babies but it would take something altogether more spectacular to stop ours crying when he wants to! Cute toy that makes noise and will distract a crying baby for about a minute. Nothing more, nothing less. you could probably spend £15 better than on Baby Sshh Sshh. Sorry to disappoint... |
| Disappointed: Rating: 1 out of 5 |
I bought this out of curiousity, as I liked the description of it. I could not find much information on the internet about it. My baby is 6 months old, maybe too old for it. She likes the squeaker on the tummy, and she will give a polite smile when I play the tunes for her (Twinkle, twinkle, little star). However, the toy is not baby friendly!!! My baby has not twigged that you have to press the cheeks to activate the music. And one cheek, you have to press for 2 seconds to activate ... how is a baby supposed to know that? My baby only likes the velcro strap, and sucking the fur of this toy. I am disappointed that I wasted £15, and I want my money back!!!
As for the claim that this toy stops baby from crying, I have found that other toys do the job twice as well!!! |

| My daughter was given one of these as a present. She absolutely loves it. It settles her when she is irritable. I was sceptical about the claims but there is definately somthing in it. It was not so effective when she was new born but since she was two months old it has been a favourite of hers. |
| Baby Wahhhhh more like!!!!!!!: Rating: 1 out of 5 |
| It may work for some babies but ours hates it! When you put the tune on it makes her sob uncontrollably until you turn it off - it should be called 'Baby Wahhhhhhhhhhh'. She doesn't even like playing with it as a toy - the only bit she does play with is the piece of velcro you use to attach it to things - hardly worth £15!!!!!!! |
| It works!: Rating: 4 out of 5 |
| What can I say... It works. My seven-week-old nephew has constant hiccups and it really distresses him, with no way to help get rid of them until we bought this. It also comes with a handy strap to stick on anything, so when it's on the back of the car seat headrest I can reach over and press it to take his mind off the fact that the car has stopped at traffic lights. He's fine when car is moving, but without Baby Sshh cries his eyes out when we stop. We love this product so much, I might buy another one! |
