| Product Description |
St. Sebastian's School in Grimesford is the pits. No, really - it is. Every year the high school sinks a bit further into the boggy plague pit beneath it and, every year, the ghosts of the plague victims buried underneath become a bit crankier. They kick up a stink by causing as much mischief as inhumanly possible so as to get St. Sebastian's School closed down once and for all. What the ghastly ghouls haven't reckoned on is Year 7 new boy, James Simpson and his friends Alexander and Lenny. But is the gang up to the challenge of laying St. Sebastian's paranormal problem to rest, or will their school remain forever frightful? There's only one way to find out! Too Ghoul For School for Nintendo DS and DSi includes 8 books on one game card: Terror in Cubicle Four; The Bubonic Builders; Silent But Deadly; The In-Spectres Call; School Spooks Day; Ghoul Dinners; Attack of the Zombie Nits and French Frights. - Collect items and unlock bonus content as you read! Spot the leeches, rats, eyeballs, splats, spiders and cockroaches hidden within the pages! Collect them all to unlock extra character information and jokes.
- Character Information and Spooky Sound Effects! Touch the links in text to pop up more information or re-play a sound effect.
- Interact with the action from the story! Wipe away gunk and goo that appears on screen to continue reading.

| This is excellent, bought the Nintendo for myself and the book for my daughter. Played with it myself first and it was great. Easy to use, graphics good and clear, really novel extras too. Wish they'd bring out some adult ones now. | | FLIPS Books Series: Rating: 5 out of 5 |
This family owns all 7 in the FLIPS series and when you consider how tiny the ds cartridges are and that overall there are 48 books plus unlockable mini books/6 unlockable volumes of Lamonical Chronicles then the value is excellent. I am a mother of two and grandmother of two and between our wide age ranges we all enjoying the FLIPS. I take one of these cartridges with me whenever we go on hols as I usually only get through a couple of books at most (weather dependent!)and it's so relaxing/easy/comfortable to just take the DSi XL which I can read in any light situation. The rest of the family all have their favourites and like competing on who can find what treasures in each book before the others - me I just love going back to my childhood or remembering Greek/Classical Mythology I thought I'd forgot or just having a good giggle and so far I haven't found any too childish for me (although I am a big kid at heart!). There's plenty to unlock if you want to and if you share a chapter from each book with another ds machine you unlock even more goodies. The full series so far:
Percy Jackson - 6 books + 2 to unlock Artemis Fowler - 6 books + 2 to unlock Too Ghoul for School - 8 books Cath Cassidy - 6 books + share to unlock mini books Faraway Tree Stories - 6 books Enid Blyton The Adventures Series - 8 books Mr Gum - 6 books + 6 volumes of Lamonical Chronicles to unlock by making a BIG mess | | Brilliant!: Rating: 5 out of 5 |
| My son (7 y o) IS a voracious reader, but he wasn't so far engaged with a book quite for such a long time. In fact he didn't put it down until finished. Neither the TV, nor the Wii could be a distraction. It is brilliant. In addition to the fact that the whole book is in such a tiny format (takes much less of a 'shelf space') it is also interactive, with all kinds of cool sound and visual effects, which makes reading so much more fun! And it's cheaper then buying books. Children tapping into the future? Just thrilling... | | Education AND fun!: Rating: 4 out of 5 |
| I really like the concept of the Flips series. Great for more reluctant readers, as they are encouraged to read on by the prospect of unlocking new features. Gave this to my 10 year-old nephew for his birthday and it was definitely a hit. | |
